By tube: Nearest tube is Chancery Lane on the Central Line (South Side Exits, Exit 3). Come out of Exit 3 and walk eastwards, slightly downhill, about 100 yards and the Melton Mowbray will be on your right hand side. The pub has a black and gold sign and has baskets of hanging flowers outside:

It is opposite the old Prudential Building, which is very distinctive:

By bus: Bus routes 8,17,25,45,46,242 and 341 all serve the High Holborn area (Stops D and H are the closest on the TFL diagram). See the TFL website for more details: TFL Holborn Circus Buses.

By Car: If coming by car it is probably best to use a park and ride scheme: Park and Ride If you really want to drive all the way to the venue, the nearest car park is an NCP one in Covent Garden: NCP. There are some nearby streets with car parking meters, but this is really NOT recommended as they usually have a maximum time limit of four hours.

13x13 Tournament

In honour of Xinyi Li who tragically lost his life last year, we will be having a side tournament on 13x13 boards (of which he was fond). Details will be given on the day, but it is likely to be free to enter.

Lunch from the pub will be available for pre-order and pre-payment. The schedule is tight, so it is recommended that if you are eating at the pub, that you pre-order and pre-pay for it. If you wish there are supermarkets and fast food places very close by, however as it is a pub, usual rules apply about bringing your own food, i.e. DON'T! PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN FOOD AND DRINK TO THE PUB. I encourage you to buy lunch at the pub anyway since the management said that if they get enough lunch orders they will give the room use to us for free - this means more prizes next year!
